Brad Pitt and that Guy Ritchie's SNATCH!!!
Man... I can't wait to see Guy Ritchie's latest... SNATCH. If it's half as hot as his last... Man, it'll make me shake and twitch like a College Freshman Stud on a pre-e. Actually... that's a really hidieously gross image... but that won't stop me. Heheheheheh... Enjoy the bits...
Hey Harry!
It's not often that we in England get to bring news to your attention but
after reading your post (01/17/2000) about Brad Pitt's rumoured involvement
in the FROM HELL flick, I noticed that you seemed to be in the dark about
Guy RItchie's follow up project to LOCK, STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS.
This information comes from the December issue of U.K. women's magazine
'Now' (I...I don't read woman's magazines you understand, I was just.... you
see, I saw Brad Pitt on the cover... no, wait I'm not interested in Brad
Pitt I just... ah, forget it). The article's angle was on how the 'big
Hollywood superstar' Brad mucked in with the rest of the British lads and
was very generous and totally down to earth and un-moviestar like during the
East London shoot.
I don't know how interested you are in that stuff so I'll skip to the info.
Ritchie's follow up to LOCK, STOCK is entitled SNATCH but personally I think
this will change before release as here in England a woman's snatch is her
pussy (I can see the ad campaign now: "Ska films presents Guy Ritchie's
Snatch"). The article reports that the budget is £3 million but gives almost
nothing away about the movie's plot except that: "it's a comedic and bloody
film set among gang members in London."
Pitt has been uglied up for his role as Mickey, an Irish gypsy boxer.
According to the article he is heavily tatooed with The Last Supper on his
back, the Madonna on his chest and a serpent coming from his trouser line.
He's also had a false bridge added to his nose to make it thicker. If
anyone has a scanner it may be worth tracking this magazine down and posting
in the pictures from the article which are mainly pictures of Pitt (well
it's a women's mag innit!) in costume (he is fully dressed so the tattoos
aren't visible). He looks very scruffy, wearing filthy clothes and a
leather, brimmed hat. In two of the four pictures Pitt appears to be
laughing his ass off. He's pictured with Ritchie in a third pic and looks
serious, with a cigarette in his mouth, in the fourth. All the pictures look
like pictures taken on set as opposed to actual shots from the film.
Finally the producer, Matthew Vaughn, mentions that Pitt was filming with
them for a month and then went back to the U.S. The magazine came out in
December so I would guesstimate that his month ended sometime in November.
How does this leave his schedule for FROM HELL?
HARRY NOTE: It Leaves It Wide Open! From What I Can Tell... It Looks As If The Hughes Brothers Are All Set To Move Forward With FROM HELL. Also As Best As I Can Find Out. Brad Is Interested, But Not Signed, In Playing The Detective... Aberleen (Though My Memory Of The Spelling Of That Name May Be Flawed) or Aberdeen or Abalone....
Axel Foley.
