I am – Hercules!!


Writer-director Alexander Payne and writer-producer Jim Taylor – the team behind “Citizen Ruth,” “Election,” “About Schmidt” and “Sideways” – are now on to “Downsizing,” a special effects movie about a guy who arranges to have himself shrunk to tiny size.

The project is expected to reunite Payne & Taylor with Paul Giamatti (“Sideways”) and Reese Witherspoon (“Election”). It would also reunite Sacha Baron Cohen (“Borat”) with a funny accent, as he would play an undersized foreigner.

This is not the first sci-fi project for Payne & Taylor, who also had a hand in scripting “Jurassic Park III.”

Payne hasn’t directed a bad movie yet.
