I never thought I'd be looking forward to HOT TUB TIME MACHINE (a project that has been kicking around Hollywood for longer than I care to remember), but now that John Cusack and Rob Corddry are attached... well, I'm at least semi-intrigued.

Josh Heald's screenplay is about a trio of best friends who attempt to assuage the misery of their adult lives by, um, traveling back in time using a hot tub. That's the pitch, folks. Sounds nightmarishly thin, but there must be something to it if Cusack and Corddry are signed. Even more promising, The Hollywood Reporter informs us that Craig Robinson and Clark Duke are in talks to co-star.

Cusack and Grace Loh will produce along with Matt Moore, who's been with the project from the very beginning. Steve Pink (director of ACCEPTED, co-writer of GROSSE POINTE BLANK and HIGH FIDELITY) has evidently taken over the reins from the previously announced Sean Anders and John Morris (the very talented duo who gave us last year's underappreciated SEX DRIVE).
