Monki delivers us up the pictures from CES! Toshiba, Sony, new Coke bottles, super thin TVs, super big TVs and much more!!!

Greetings humans, Monki here live in Vegas with a better look at CES 2009. You asked for it, and you shall get it. Pictures!

I spent another day wandering around the massive convention halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center and I even spent some time at the Sands/Venetian Expo taking a look at some more cool technologies over there. I also had a chance to talk with a guy working on Halo Wars, the new RTS Halo title coming soon. I'll get that to you folks soon as well. Enough talk, lets look at some pretty images.

I had mentioned the incredible size of Panasonic's booth, this picture barely conveys that size.

You can't even really see the end of it all. They do have one cool display of "exploded" cameras too.

Panasonic is also showing off probably the thinnest television at CES. That little sliver you see just right of center is the side view of the television on the left. One-third of an inch. Jesus.

Just near Panasonic is the Casio booth. And to think I thought Casio just made cheap watches. They even have a cheerleading squad. (Sorry for the lack of that photo.)

Everywhere you look you see massive HD screens. This guy was near the NBC Universal booth. Nothing special, just a massive fucking television.

Over at the Toshiba booth they were showing off their new violin players. I think they are releasing these models around March.

Samsung brought it with a huge suspended television wall that looks cool as hell in motion.

Microsoft is here trying to convince more people to switch to Vista and showing off some new technologies as well as a couple of early peeks at a couple of games.

This. Is. Jeopardy.

Samsung also had a new Coke machine set up. The woman there described it as "a digital media interface and a vending machine." Like chocolate and mayonnaise. The entire front is a touch screen and is capable of full video and all kinds of other stuff. Oh, and apparently the cans this thing spits out out are brand new aluminum Coke bottles that aren't out yet. Neato.

Roland, the music-machine guys had the "world's fastest drummer" showing off some cool digital drums. This guy makes Animal drool.

Anyway, these are just a few images of neat things I saw. But I know what you guys want. If you ask really nice I'll share some from a different convention I visited while I had the chance.

Until next time, back up the tree I go!

-Monki
