Greetings! ScoreKeeper here after slaying a few vampires to let you know of a recent CD soundtrack release that is sure to appease fans of the only slayer hotter than me.

BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER (1997-2003) is one of the most popular television shows of the last decade. Since I’ve been writing for AICN I’ve received a fair share of emails from fans asking me when they would be releasing a CD of the score from the series.

That time is now. Last week, Rounder Records released BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER: THE SCORE containing twenty-nine score selections from seasons two, three, four and five of the cult TV classic.

Emmy-award winning composer Christophe Beck composed, mixed, and produced most of the music for the entire series including the famous “Once More, With Feeling” musical episode. Beck also composed the scores for the BUFFY spin-off series, ANGEL (1999-2004).

The album is also available on iTunes.
