Knights Of Dysfunction Sit At The ROUNDTABLE!!

Brian K. Vaughan, a writer/producer on LOST who is also adapting Marvel's RUNAWAYS for the bigs screen, has authored ROUNDTABLE - a script just picked up by DreamWorks.
In "Roundtable," Vaughan tries out yet another tweak on the oft-revised King Arthur legend. His spin, more "Ghostbusters" than "Excalibur," revolves around Merlin assembling a bunch of modern-day knights to battle a resurrected ancient evil, only to discover that today's knights are all washed-up athletes, cowardly scientists or Academy Award-winning actors.

Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald (both of SWEENEY TODD and THE ISLAND, among many other credits) are producing.
This project could go any direction, but sounds like it might be a lot of fun. If they manage to cast real Academy Award winning actors as themselves? Even better...
