Len Wiseman will get a shot at redemption after last Summer's LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD when he directs SHELL GAME.

Set in the future, the sci-fi action thriller follows a detective who is faced with a moral dilemma as he investigates the dangerous black-market business of immortality. Justin Bondi and Andrew Ludington wrote the original screenplay, while Wiseman and Chris Morgan penned the most recent draft.

Okay, this actually sounds pretty cool. But...there's the Wiseman factor.

As far as I'm concerned, all of Wiseman's movies look pretty great but lack any kind of flare or energy. I'd love to see him knock one out of the park, though. SHELL GAME is described as a "passion project" for him, so maybe he can sink his teeth into this and really make us care about what's happening on screen for once.
