Capone's IN BRUGES Screening Contest (Deadline Tonight @ Midnight!!)
Hey everyone. Capone in Chicago here.
Well, it's a new year, which means it must be time for me to give out a few passes to the good folks in the Chicago area to a screening followed by what promises to be a fantastic Q&A moderated by yours truly.
The film in question is called IN BRUGES, starring Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, and Ralph Fiennes. If the film's title sounds familiar to you, that's because it's the opening-night offering of the Sundance Film Festival, which begins this week. First-time feature writer-director Martin McDonagh will be on hand after the screening to take questions from you lovely folks, so don't even think about entering this contest if you aren't prepared to ask lots of quality questions. McDonagh directed the Oscar-winning live-action short SIX SHOOTER (also starring Gleeson) a couple of years ago; it's tremendous and you should seek it out immediately.
The screening is taking place the evening of Friday, January 25 at a theater in downtown Chicago, and I've got 25 passes (each good for two people) to give away. Since this isn't strictly an Ain't It Cool event, you need to arrive early to guarantee that you get a seat (if you win).
Read This Carefully!!! To win, e-mail me at capone@aintitcoolmail.com with your name, the name of your guest, and the answer to this simple question: What your favorite thing about Belgium? (The film is set in a city in Belgium.) Make your answer good. If you just say “the beer,” you won't win. I will read all entries and pick the best ones.
You must be over 18 to enter. And if you win, I'll send you details on the screening and how to get in. Once winners receive their pass, they will have to RSVP to a phone number or e-mail address provided. Since I've only got 25 tickets, this contest is going to be over soon. In fact, it's over at midnight Wednesday night.
Good luck, everyone.
