Nick Cassavettes gets a Baldwin for MY SISTER'S KEEPER! Find out which one!
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Now on the surface Nick Cassavettes' MY SISTER'S KEEPER sounds a little NORTHish... or that bad Drew Barrymore '80s movie about the kid divorcing her parents, but upon further reading it actually sounds pretty fascinating.
Alec Baldwin has just joined the cast. He'll play a lawyer representing a young girl, to be played by Elle Fanning, as she seeks to be emancipated from her parents. The reason being is that her parents had her only as a way to be a genetic match for organs that can prolong the life of her cancer-ridden sister (Dakota Fanning). Cameron Diaz plays the mother, a former trial lawyer whe represents herself in the case.
Sounds pretty good, no? I do like a good courtroom drama and this one looks to be shaping up pretty well. Plus Alec Baldwin is the man. Thoughts?
