Hey folks. Capone in Chicago here. The last year has been a banner year in Chicago for AICN events, and I've been doing everything in my power to bring the residents of the Windy City the quality of events and guests that our comrades in Austin get on a much more regular basis. Just this year, I've hosted screenings that brought us such dignitaries as Eli Roth, Danny Boyle, and the men of HOT FUZZ (I even somehow landed a cameo on the HOT FUZZ DVD extras). Most recently, we brought you a sold-out screening of THE KING OF KONG, which might have been my favorite thanks entirely to a pitch-perfect audience. And now I've got something lined up for Chicagoans that kind of boggles my mind.

I've got 50 tickets (each ticket good for two people) to give away for a free screening of Wes Anderson's wonderful THE DARJEELING LIMITED (here's my review if you need a reminder of how much I loved this film Read my masturbatory review here). This may not impress you at first since the film has already opened on a limited basis in Chicago and other cities, but after this particular screening, I'll be moderating a Q&A with co-writer/director Wes Anderson and co-writer/star Jason Schwartzman. The screening takes place this Tuesday evening, October 16 at a downtown Chicago location. Since this isn't a strictly AICN-sponsored event, those of you who win need to get to the theater early.

So what do you need to do to win? Send me an e-mail at my email with DARJEELING LIMITED CONTEST in the subject line and your name and the name of your guest in the body of the message. No amount of begging or pleading will make any difference. With such limited time before the event, I want to keep things simple. The first 50 people who follow these basic rules get a pass with the screening details, and we expect them to go very quickly. I do ask one thing of those who decide to enter: come armed with questions for our guests. There's nothing worse than an audience filled with non-inquisitive viewers. And if you can't think of some glorious questions after watching a Wes Anderson movie, there's something terribly wrong with you.

Oh, and one other thing. Make sure you hit iTunes and check out the prologue Anderson/Schwartman/Natalie Portman free short HOTEL CHEVALIER before you come to the screening. We will definitely be discussing it during the Q&A.
