Gyllenhaal & Liman Take A Trip To The Moon For DreamWorks!!
Merrick here...Actioner revolves around a private expedition to the moon and the race for lunar colonization.

The film was originally co-scripted by Liman and John Hamburg. The concept was subsequently retooled & will be scripted by mark Bowden - who authored the book BLACK HAWK DOWN.
Liman is also producing with NBC's recently announced KNIGHT RIDER project.
I remember MISSION TO MARS and RED PLANET. Despite good moments in both, neither worked very well at all. Hopefully the moon will work out better for audiences and filmmakers alike.
Maybe the new movie will look something like this?
