Summer doesn’t end for a few more days, but there is a post-summer sadness that grips me I watch now the last hour of the last episode of Showtime Too’s “Big Brother After Dark.” I know the broadcast show continues to be a huge key-demo hit for CBS, but I wonder how many voyeurs have been watching all 21 weekly hours of the live cable show?

It’s down to whiny-ass Daniele Donato and her aging metalhead pop, Dick. On Tuesday night we’ll see one get $500,000 and the other will get $50,000. I don’t see angry atheist Dick getting the Jameka/Amber Christian vote, but I’m pretty sure he’ll get the big money anyway.

The “Big Brother” finales are always great, as ALL the contestants are always confronted with their controversial and exceedingly well-documented bad behavior. And how will the sequestered cast react to the fact that ousted Eric has secretly been taking CBS-sanctioned orders from viewers?

I’m curious about the deal Eric has with the show. Till now, he only got paid for every five tasks completed. But his final task (his viewer-mandated final vote for either Dick or Daniele) does not bring him to a multiple of five. Has he a special new incentive to vote?

I’m more curious about what we won’t learn. Once Daniele has her money, will she ever speak to her father again? Will she drop her longtime real-life boyfriend in favor of handsome former bedmate Nick?

As “Big Brother” ends another reality fave, The CW’s “Beauty and The Geek,” returns.

The “big twist” this season is that producers have thrown one male model and one girl without breast implants into the mix.
