Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. James Gray is going for a Joaquin Phoenix hat trick.

Phoenix has signed on for a third consecutive appearance in a James Gray flick. I really dug THE YARDS and WE OWN THE NIGHT looks great (even though I'm 98% sure the trailer gave away the whole goddamn movie). His next is called TWO LOVERS and Phoenix will play a Brooklyn man (of course) who is torn between potential partners. One is a family friend his folks want him to marry and the other is a new neighbor who sparks a passion in him he hasn't known before. Sounds James Gray-ish.
