Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. NINJA GOLD isn't really a video game movie, as in it's not a video game adaptation, but a brainchild of video game creator Warren Spector, who did DEUS EX and THIEF: DEADLY SHADOWS.

Spector came up with the story for NINJA GOLD (details still under wraps) and John Woo will produce and direct with producing partner Terence Chang. Fox Atomic will distribute. The only thing really discussed about the film is there will be "rich mythology" and they're aiming for the target Fox Atomic audience (ie younger college boys). John Woo doing a movie with "NINJA" in the title... Is it wrong that after all the crap, I can't help but get excited about this? There must be something wrong with me...
