I remember hearing about this project, THE PASSENGER, a little while ago, a biopic about Iggy Pop with Elijah Wood starring as the singer. Then it kinda disappeared. Now it has resurfaced and it looks like they got their budget and are on track to film this year with Wood still in the lead and Nick Gomez (DROWNING MONA) directing. Iggy Pop won't be directly involved, but they say the production has his blessing.

I've admired the roles Wood has been choosing post-LOTR. He's picked some very interesting things and is doing a great job at keeping himself from being only known as the hobbit.
