I’m itching to get a look at something... ANYTHING... from the new Paul Thomas Anderson film. It’s hard to believe he hasn’t made anything since PUNCH-DRUNK LOVE, and a part of me is still skeptical that we’ll really see a new film from him this year.

But then an image like this shows up --

-- and I find myself getting giddy almost instantly. I’ve had this script sitting on my hard drive for months now, and I have fought the urge to read it. I just want the film to come out. I just want to see this one as cold as possible.
