If you do not know the name Alex de la Iglesia, get thee hence to your netflix account and search out DAY OF THE BEAST (Dia de la Bestia) - for you horror/comedy/cult/weird fans, CRIMEN FERPECTO for you dark comedy fans, 800 BALAS (800 Bullets) for you coming of age/western fans and ACCION MUTANTE for anyone that loves bizarre, fucked up cinema.

It's a celebration whenever Iglesia has a new movie in the works and his next flick sounds great. It's called OXFORD MURDERS and it looks like a murder mystery/suspense flick about murders on the campus at Oxford. A student is intrigued by this murder and ends up trying to figure it out under the tutelage of a Sherlock Holmes type that uses logic and math to solve the mystery.

Elijah Wood has just been cast as the student, joining John Hurt who will, presumably, be playing the Holmes type. Can't wait to see John Hurt in an Iglesia world! This movie is one of my most anticipated films in production!
