Ahoy, squirts! Quint here... and yep, that's the title of Book 7, the final book in the HARRY POTTER series. HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS. The title will take some getting used to. It doesn't have that immediately satisfying ring that something like HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE does, but I'm sure when we finish the book the title will fit better than any other.

Methinks the Deathly Hallows will be a place young Mr. Potter gets to visit some long lost friends, but that's just a guess. Probably 100% wrong since Mrs. Rowling always seems to be two or three steps ahead of me.

As a fan of the books and the films, I eagerly await this final book. Hope it's a perfect capper to the series... she has the chance to really solidify her work as being the Wizard of Oz for this generation, something that'll live for decades, if not centuries, after she's gone. I know in my travels this year, I went all over the world and one consistant was Harry Potter. From Spain (Harry Potter's face in ice cream store windows) to Prague (Harry Potter marionettes hanging in damn near every shop) to New Zealand and the UK... Potter's a world phenomenon the likes we haven't seen since perhaps 1977 when Lucas released Star Wars.

Here's hoping the legacy is cemented with a fantastic last book. At the very least it has to live up to HALF-BLOOD PRINCE which is one of the stand-out best books of the series so far.
