So Lorne won’t be back next season?

It looks like not nearly as much.

That drown-Angel-in-a-box stuff we keep seeing in the promo isn’t the big season cliffhanger, is it?

It’s one of two mammoth cliffhangers.

Hasn’t it been established that Buffyverse vampires don’t need to breathe?

Yes. If Angel can find an octopus’ garden in the shade, he’s in no danger of perishing. But it seems Steven’s thought of that.

What’s good?

Fred’s vampire impression, and her hilarious worrying about Angel’s increasing happiness. Groo’s sad realization. Naked Lilah. (You heard right: naked Lilah.) The sheer enormity of that “other” cliffhanger. Lots of other cool stuff we’re not talking about.

What’s not so good?

Are we really to believe that Lorne is putting out albums now? And that he flies commercial airliners?

Is “Angel” better than “Buffy” now?

Herc hasn’t seen the “Buffy” finale yet. But if you take “Once More With Feeling” out of the mix, Herc might agree that Angel’s third was better than Buffy’s sixth. Might. Maybe.

How does it end, spoiler-boy?

Angel and another major character (who isn’t Steven) find themselves growing farther apart.
