I am – Hercules!!
It’s “upfront week,” that time of year when the nets announce their fall schedules to advertisers and the rest of the world. First out of the box is NBC, which announced its slate Monday afternoon.
Looks like the only NBC “on the bubble” show not returning is “Leap of Faith” (the terrible, sanitized “Sex in the City” clone the net was airing after “Friends”). “Watching Ellie,” the Julia Louis-Dreyfuss vehicle created by hushand Brad Hall, is said to return at midseason

With Brittany Snow (“Guding Light”), Vanessa Lengies, Gail O'Grady (“NYPD Blue”), Tom Verica (“Providence”), Will Estes (U-571”) and Joseph Lawrence (“Blossom,” “Brotherly Love”)..
BOOMTOWN. (Sundays 10 p.m.) An L.A.-based lawyer-and-cop-and-paramedic-and-politician-and-newsman drama from writer-producer Graham Yost (“Speed,” “Borken Arrow,” “Hard Rain, “ “The Last Castle”). Jason Gedrick (“Falcone,” “The Beast”), Donnie Wahlberg (“Band of Brothers”) and Mykelti Williamson (“The Fugitive”), Neal McDonough (“Minority Report”), Gary Basaraba (“Brooklyn South”), Nina Garbiras (“The $treet,” “Leap Years” and Lana Parrilla (“Spin City”) star. “Princess X” reviews the pilot script here.

IN LAWS (Tuedays 8:00 p.m.) Comedy about a an aspiring chef who regrets moving in with his new wife’s parents, from writer-producer Mark Reisman (“Wings,” “Frasier”). Stars Elon Gold (“The Dana Carvey Show”), Bonnie Somerville (“Grosse Pointe”), Jean Smart (“Style & Substance”) and Dennis Farina (“Buddy Faro”) .
HIDDEN HILLS (Tuedays 9:30 p.m.) Comedy about two suburban couples starring Paula Marshall (“Cupid,” “Snoops”), Justin Lewis (“The Contender”), Dondre T. Whitfield (“Girlfriends,” “Inside Schwartz”), Tamara Taylor (“Party of Five”) and Kristin Bauer (“That’s Life”) from director Peter Segal (“Tommy Boy,” “Nutty Professor II”) and writer Ric Swartzlander (“Daddio,” “The Ellen Show”).
