Harrison Ford speculations and rumors...

Harrison Ford bits... hmm... Ok, Memoirs of a Geisha is a real deal project for sure, and not a cover for INDY IV, I've heard from plenty about this and everyone has their proof, so it's the real deal. But Harrison may be involved in Memoirs of a Geisha, some people have written in saying there is a part in the book he'd be quite good as, and then there is the info in this post. Personally hearing Ford with a different accent may be very very weird, but also keep in mind there is the Zemeckis/Ford project that is in the works, though I don't believe he is actually signed for that yet, just in negotiations or rumored negotiations. Here's what this Englander had to say about it all...

This can't really be considered a big scoop or anything like that but given that I live in a tiny town on the south coast of England (Deal? Ever heard of it?) where nothing noteworthy ever happens I thought that I'd pass the following stuff on...

The lady that lives two doors down from me is a voice and dialect coach and beyond working with the Cruiser on Eyes Wide Shut (very difficult set surprise! surprise!) she's just jetted off to the states to work with the current God of action movies - Harrison Ford. Apparently she's been teaching him an English accent....hope that it's of interest to you. Hey, I know it's not much but believe me, nothing happens here!

Also - are you sure about Memories Of A Geisha being a cover for Indy IV? I can't see the publishers or writer Arthur Golden being too happy about that. After Amistad, surely steven Spielberg needs new lawsuits like he needs a hole in the head.

Is there a part in it for a Brit? Haven't read it myself but if so I think that it would be cool - in my opinion Harrison has been selling himself a bit short lately - he's a much, much better actor than most people give him credit for.

Oh yeah, and Mudoch owned tabloid The News Of The World reports today (Sunday 5th) that Michelle Yeoh has signed for the new Indy movie. Seems awful premature to me tho'.

Can't see any of this being much more than of passing interest but I've enjoyed the site so much that I thought I ought to send you something.

Oh, as is the way of these things you can call me Martin Blank.
