Well here's the latest on COLD HEARTS, that vampire flick we heard Tom "God" Savini was working on, so check out the info and the pics... they're gory as can be... real fangoriaiffic!!!

Now here's the Cool News. Young Tim here to give some CoolNews from Ocean City, NJ. I've been waiting years, OK maybe not years, but a long time to have some really CoolNews for you. I'm hoping this will make me an official Aint it Cool News spy. Here are some pics from a new low budget independent vampire film called Cold Hearts (You ran a little story about it a while back. Tom Savini was doing the FX's) by first time director/writer Robert Masiantonio (you figure out how to say it). It stars Marisa Ryan, from TV's Major Dad and NY Undercover. Amy-Jo Johnson who was the Pink Power Panger. And Robert Floyd who was in some TV movies and was one of the helicopter pilot in Godzilla. Christian Cambel (Neve's Brother is also in it). It's about Vampires that live in Ocean City, NJ. Battles between good and evil, with a love story somewhere in there.

So heres something interesting I heard from hanging around. The producers of the movie went to a major sunglass company looking for product placement. They sent the company their request along with some of the script. Three month or so later that company - Ray Bans - comes out with a new commercial featuring vampires hanging out on the beach, being protected by their sunglasses. Well the producers contacted RayBans and some arrangemnt was reached, not sure of what.

Now about Tom Savini's role in this. Sorry to disappoint you but Tom had little to no involment. The credits will probable say he did but he passes the job off to some of the guys that work for/with him. He never even showed up on the set.

From what I hear Tom want to concentrate on writing/directing and doesnt want to be doing FX's stuff anymore. And the small budget on this film was probably a factor also.

The pictures are of the evil vampire getting into makeup for the final fight scene.

The burnt body is a dummy of the vmpire, Alicia (i think thats the characters name) played by Amy-Jo. She commits suicide by staying out in the sun all day. Aint it cool??
