X-FILES trailer "C" description and the EPISODE ONE trailer description!!!

Well, here is Snagglepuss again, this time with news on the new X-FILES: FIGHT THE FUTURE trailer 'C', and the STAR WARS: EPISODE ONE trailer descriptions. NOTE TO EVERYONE, Snagglepuss is solid, you may trust him. He has assembled a description of the two trailers, but on the Star Wars one, doesn't describe what exactly we see, except for one shot, but he does tell us it will contain SCENES from the film. I won't say more, for those of you that don't want to know, but here's the deal, if you begin reading below, you'll have an idea, personally I think many of you don't want to so much as read a voice over.... right? Well flutter away little butterfly flutter away, the rest want to read....

Snagglepuss here again.

All theaters across the country should have received their flat & scope trailers of THE X-FILES today. It's the brand-spankin' new Version "C."

Want the lowdown? Sure you would . . .

- The 20th Century Fox logo comes up - sound of a bar, glass clinking.

- In a bar, Mulder is drinking away. The bartender (Glenne Headly) says, "So what do you do?" And Mulder goes into a spiel about how he is the laughingstock of his peers, who call him "Spooky." Then he gets into the global conspiracy to subvert extraterrestrial life. The bartender looks at him and says, "Okay, Spooky. You've had enough." And she pulls his drinks away.

- More scenes from the first & second trailers (the flamethrower, the twin domes in the cornfield).

- "It has mutated . . . " one Elder says. "Into what?"

- Scully and Mulder in a morgue. "Mulder, I can't tell you what this man died from. In fact, I don't think **anyone** could."

- Scully at a hearing, with Blythe Danner saying: "Let me get this straight. You have prove to support your claims about alien life." (Pause) Scully: "Undeniable proof."

- Mulder & Scully walking into a steel trap room, with Mulder pressing his ear against the wall.

- Another shot of something (alien) moving quickly. A jogger, knowing he's about to die: "So much for little green men."

- Conversation w/Martin Landau.

- Armin Mueller-Stahl: "He knows too much. Now we have to take away what is most important to him."

- And the all-important shot: Mulder and Scully about to kiss . . .

- MONTAGE. "June 19" appears on the screen. Voiceover: "Take your worst fears, your darkest nightmares, and multiply them by X."

- Mulder's voice: "This is something that will affect every man, woman, and child on this planet." Running, cars driving away from the Senate, Scully being lifted in a hospital bed, the Texas explosion, Mulder falling off the side of a precipice (different angle).

- A man on the phone: "Remember what we thought was impossible? Now we need a plan."

- The ice floe breaks apart; shot of Terry O'Quinn; ice field collapses; Mulder carrying a sick Scully through an ice cave.

- The new X-FILES logo appears on the screen -- giant red "X" in the background.

- Shot w/Well-Manicured Man and Mulder: "Trust no one, Mr. Mulder."

- ON JUNE 19, THE TRUTH WILL BE REVEALED.

And, as for the STAR WARS: EPISODE ONE trailer being attached to THE X-FILES, let me say it right here and now: it will definitely, invariably, undeniably be attached to the X-FILES print. It's a simple teaser, running at 1:27, but it **will** feature shots from the movie, unlike others have posted before. Nothing spectacular aside from the last shot of Coruscant (which is the only CGI element aside from a lightsaber), but it will still blow you away. The music is a sweeping version of the SW theme, showing off the stars (Liam Neeson, Natalie Portman, R2-D2 prowling the streets, etc.) in slow fade-outs.

Voiceover: "Next Memorial Day, let the Force take you to the beginning."

And then, MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU. MEMORIAL DAY 1999. ONLY IN THEATERS.
