Behind The Scenes of Guillermo Del Toro's BLADE 2 Footage!!!

Published at:  Aug 14, 2001 9:27:47 PM CDT

Hey folks, Harry here... well looky looky, it seems somebody got some behind the scenes footage from the set of BLADE 2... Now it's only about 41 seconds, and all you'll really get from it is the look of Wesley Snipes and one kevlar ninja looking dude going through practice moves for an action scene that they are preparing for. This comes from the opening of the film when we have the Vampire Anti-Blade crew introduced... Oh, and you can hear Del Toro's booming voice calling ACTION to the scene. Not the coolest scoop, but neat anyways... Personally I wanna see Beserker bastages now!!!! Thanks goes out to Robogeek and Geek #2 for the heads up!

    Snipes should be "The Punisher"

    by soupermike

He's very good in Blade, but instead of doing a stupid Black Panther film after this they ought to give him something better, like a new take on the Punisher. Theres no reason he should be stuck playing Black characters, just because their black doesn't mean there good.

    by uber red devil

Wam bam thank you man. Let's hope these guys can pull off a better video than last time. I've never seen worse use of Udo Kier since hell froze over, or Andy wanted his slice of bread a la wirgin. Uh oh, here comes my blow job, gotsa go.

YAY!!! More Wessie Snips grimacing goodness!!!

    by bastardly

I cant wait to see 90 more minutes of Wez Snipes grimacing like a jackass getting an enema. After Art of War its surprising this dude still has a career. Hopefully this movie will tank and Snipes will join Reeves in making TV films for TNT after Matrix Dos y Tres bomb mucho grande as well.

On the topic of a punisher movie...

    by paddington

Who'd be better to make it than Troy Duffy? Anyone who's seen Boondock Saints would agree with me on that one I'm sure. He'd be a fool not to bring Garth Ennis in on the script though. Ennis knows the heart of Punisher better than anyone else, I'm sure. Oh god, what I wouldn't do for Ennis to throw in a superhero cameo? Man, I still can't laughing after the Spiderman cameo in issue two of the new series... hehehe, they did a team up... Anyways, can't think of a star though... I don't think Snipes should take too many comic hero roles... Like what would be the difference between his Punisher and his Blade? Oh, except for the vampire thing... I want someone different as my Punisher... Maybe Brad Pitt... He showed that agressive side pretty damn good in Fight Club...

    I liked Blade . . .

    by punkid

Now noone likes that either? What the fuck do you like? I know I'm being hipocritical, I already sided with you guys, but what is so perfect that you actually like it? Blade had cool vampires, awesome action, decent acting, and good casting. What more could you want from it? It promised to be cool and was.

my thoughts on italian punishers and MTV videos

    by sundown

notice how MTV sucks and kids attention spans are so short they actually don't even show a full video anymore? Just the "best parts" of the two second video. ........Now as far as the Punisher goes I am italian (sicilian) so cliche QT dialog aside -while I loved Blade (bought it on DVD!!!) I think he is not right for the role. Now my casting would go- Punisher - Russel Crowe (not italian but he needs more intense rolls and if he's gonna play a superhero this should be it and I'm italian and I give him permission!!!) Kingpin - Vincent D'onfrio with massive make up. Jigsaw - Jude Law (pretty boy gets his face chopped up by Castle and comes back a lunatic) Bullseye - Russell Wong (crossover with DD?) Microchip - Paul Giamatti and Helena Bonham Carter as a social worker type that runs into the whole mess. Just cause she rocks and I'd like to see a strong lead female as the morale center. Now if they can get McQuarrie to write and direct it it'd be fine...

Exclusive limey Blade 2 set report

    by kaspar hauser

The English movie show Movie Nights last night advertised an exclusive set report from Blade 2 to air next tuesday night. But only in Limey land.

    Snipes has very pointy hair.

    I gotta say...

    by mrgrimm

I really loathed the first BLADE (I would have walked out if I wasn't with friends who inexplicably wanted to stay and suffer), but this one's looking pretty damn decent. Hiring Del Toro to direct was a stroke of genius...if you can call it that.
