Hey folks, Cosmico here, just so you know, Cartoon Network, in one of the finest moves ever made in the television world, is going to be airing a super show this fall.

In fact, it is my very favourite anime show of all time. It is also probably some of the best television around period. NOT TO BE MISSED. I speak of COWBOY BEBOP.

Some of you with fully functioning brains, watchful eyes, and perky ears have already seen it. The wisest among you already own all six (in the US) DVDs. Maybe you also own some of the soundtracks, with absolutely EXCELLENT music by the genius Yohko Kanno, who is just one of the finest damn composers of cool-ass tv themes ever.

Well, it looks like we didn't have enough people at the San Diego ComicCon ourselves, but thankfully someone else put up the scoop from the Cartoon Network panel at the Con. Anime Tourist reports here that Cartoon Network will be adding COWBOY BEBOP to its Adult Swim programming lineup this fall.

Of course, I'm worried about that "editing" note in there, but hopefully the show will air mostly intact. In any case, for those of you who haven't seen this show, you ought to either rent or buy (BUY!) the DVDs immediately, but if you're FOOL ENOUGH not to do so, then flog yourself repeatedly, and patiently wait until they show up on TV this fall.

Congrats to Cartoon Network on this! You couldn't have picked a better show.
