Hello Folks, Harry here... I really hope that Adam Beach is awesome in WINDTALKERS... He was incredible in SMOKE SIGNALS... and that new KISS OF THE DRAGON trailer down there... and then ya know... ICE AGE looks as quirky and fun as I'd hoped for from the geniuses behind BUNNY. THere is still another trailer that debuted at Apple today, but... I had no interest in linking to it...

Doesn't Windtalkers look kinda like a cross between Pearl Harbor, Saving Private Ryan and The Rock? I sure hope so, those all kicked ass. A good setup for Black Hawk Down, and then "we Were Soldiers once", man War movies are bad ass.

HOW TO GET LINKS TO QUICKTIME MOVIES FROM REFERRERS LEARN IT HER

ok heres how it is, pretty simple really.
1)go to the apple site and click on the trailer u want.
2)once in you'll see a quicktime plugin in your browser, do a view source and get the *****-ref.mov link, and download it.
3)now open that ref.mov file in notepad.
4)somewhere in there you'll find a list of all the names of the mov files of the trailer in all the different sizes.
5)now suppose your ref file link was http://a.akamai.net/qhlihtl3hh224279/movie-ref.mov then what you would do is replace the movie-ref.mov with the name u got from notepad (say you found movie-T1size.mov)! so the actual link is http://a.akamai.net/qhliht13hh224279/movie-T1size.mov
thats what u gotta download!

I saw it in front of Dr. Dolittle 2 (don't go there! :-)). It *REALLY* looks and sounds much better on a big screen with THX sound. The audience loved it.

Hey Harry, why no link to the "Big Trouble" trailer? I don't know about the movie, but the book (Dave Barry's first novel) was very funny indeed. Has the movie gotten really bad buzz or something?

i have a comment about the ice age trailer. it may seem as nitpicking but it really isn't, as i've enjoyed the toon immensly. It's just so quirky and funny and lighthearted that it can't be bad.
But the question still remains. Two questions really. First, when the little rodent causes the crack in the ice, we see that only one glacier starts falling down. But then a few shots later there are two glaciers colliding. Now, perhaps the other glacier cracked as well but that wasn't shown. The main question is this. when the glaciers squeeze him and then he pops and is set free.....he is suddenly falling from a great hight. In all shots before that the rodent was on a plain with absolutely no places from where he could fall from shown.
does anyone have some insight on this? thanks. -
What is it that you have against WWII movies? I've seen you complain about them too much. Are you a spoiled selfish brat who doesn't care that our grandfathers fought and some of them died just to stop the Nazis/Italians/Japanese from spreading their empires across the world? They fought for your freedom and now you complain about people making movies about them.

Don't complain about our empire spreading. If it weren't for World War II, you wouldn't have as easy of a life. And the Axis' empires would have been evil ones that used slave labor to build up their industries. Anyway, don't complain about our empires spreading or you wouldn't be online right now to complain.
