I didn't see all of the first movie, but mildly enjoyed what I did catch.
This though looks spot-on funny as hell. Can't wait.
Also eager to see American Pie 2... comedies will do nicely.. ahh...

This film looks absolutely awful, it is amazing how this has been made. Surely anyone who was given the money to make a film like this could think of funnier things than this. It is a sad state of affairs when something like this gets made, never mind released. To everyone who was involved in this film... SHAME ON YOU, DAMN SHAME ON YOU. You may like earning bucks from producing shit like this, but us public are getting sick of seeing shit like this making money. This trailer must contain some of the best moments from the film, thats how the sell the film. So god help us all, may the filmakers burn in hell for being so unoriginal. This is a Scary Movie though, it scares the shit out of me that this is COMEDY today. I am having nightmares just thinking of what it will be like, nevermind the people who will see it and say this is great. This will not be bad, This will be the most attrocious film released this year (If not ever). Are there not any good scripts out there? Are we just going to see shit like this again and again, it is classing us as morons. But after seeing this trailer, you cannot get more moronic than the people who made this. Now either they are on a $1000 a week crack habit or they have no taste. This film has left a disgusting taste in my mouth and it wont go away. This is BAD, so BAD. I honestly cannot believe how this has got made, it beggars belief. So if anyone can answer WHY this movie got made, I am listening. Because I think a 5 year old child could come up with something better and they know shit of the film industry. It insults the intelligence of the people and I feel insulted.

Are we talking about the same piece of shit, that I just downloaded from the french Premier site or a different film altogether? The thing with trailers, is that they put most of the good parts of the movie in to sell the film. Look at scary movie 1, if you seen the trailer..you didnt have to see the film. And if these are the best bits then god help us. You might like watching crap like this, but I wont waste my time on it. Its not even funny, I could have wrote these jokes after a night down the pub (maybe that is stretching it - 10 minutes). People wake up and see shit for what it is. I cannot believe someone is arguing that this looks good, you sure youre nothing to do with the film. I'm off to get my Hi8 Cam and film my dog shitting out the backyard, it will be 1 and half hours of pure entertainment and then I can sell it off to the idiots who made this. You work HARD people for your cash, dont waste it on this. And I still say to the people who made this:- "DAMN YOU, DAMN YOU ALL". Timothy McVeigh was given the lethal injection the other day, please let the Wayans brothers be next Please God, Please. They are insulting our intelligence. How many independent filmmakers dont get a chance in life to have their film supported whilst SHIT like this gets supported. There is no justice in this world.

you're one of those people that can't stand movies that other people like, right? anyone know what i'm talking about? you know, those people who automatically hate a movie just cause a lot of people like it? oh well, even if you're not i don't expect anyone of the opposite gender wanting to see this movie with you (as if you didn't already know this) so i guess you won't be seeing the movie at all. I guess everything works out for everyone.

Also, considering the amount of vitriol, does anyone else wonder if he was involved with either film and got fired? It's the only reason I can think of for such a reaction to a movie he hasn't seen, unless it's reverse psychology. :) -
I always kept an open mind to the fact that movies are meant to be entertainment and fun and all that jizz. I even went to film school and was one of the few proud enough to admit that I loved action films and dumb comedies as much as I was SUPPOSED to jock the classics. Why couldn't anyone else see that even since the early days of film, movies were meant to purely entertain as much as they were an exciting, new, and experimental medium as much as they were a $ making scheme? I'd get in long arguments defending my point that Ace Ventura and T2 hold are as valid a part of film history as the Bicyle Thief(sometimes known as thieves). "Where has film gone?" Tell you what, the "timeless classics" that we all think of as superior to our current product were also surrounded by hundreds of mindless slapstick comedies and dreck pictures that were produced in a week's span. Either way, I often lost those arguments to the mighty film elitists--which i refer to as pompous assholes-- but I walked away proud that I was willing to keep an open mind and see the bigger picture of it all and watch what I enjoy and ignore what I don't. But after this summer...

Sorry, hate reading long posts so I'll keep this short. Since Scary Movie last year, Me Myself & Irene, and the dawn of Rob Schneider I have seen my amusement with innocent dumb comedies declining rapidly to the point that they disgust me. I see myself criticizing people for even wanting to see the Animal and other stupid teen comedies. Before I may have enjoyed these films or simply just ignored them. Has the level of crap pictures this year caused me to actually raise my level of film snobbery? I know boycotting these things won't do shit because they will still cash in. I have this feeling in my gut that it will only get worse. God help me. I don't want to be a fucking film jerk but I don't know what to do.

Scary Movie was PURE Wayans' Bro. comedy. Not all of it hit, but there were times when I was rolling on the floor (mostly from stuff that wasn't in the trailers). If you thought the first one was crap, then you just don't get it. You probably didn't enjoy "In Living Color" either.

What I can't believe is that you tossers will come here and bitch about every movie ever created, then come and bitch about scary movie, the films that make fun of every movie you bitch about. well, personally, i'd rather see someone articulate how bad films can be on screen than from your dumbarse postings on AICN. Why do you wankers bother to come here? What is life like for you guys. If the toilet paper isn't as soft as the one back home, do you just leave your arse dirty? Did anyone over the age of 16 actually think the first Scary Movie was funny? My God, it was a parody of a parody - talk about redundant! I laughed a helluva lot more during Scream than I did during Scary Movie. The fact that they simply took the plot of Scream (almost scene for scene), made the jokes dumber, and people still flocked to this piece of dreck says something. I admit there was one genuinely funny line that caught me by surprise ("Two white people are dead, let's get the f**k out of here!") but laughing once in ninety minutes of "comedy" doesn't cut it. I can't blame the Wayans Brothers and Miramax for milking a cash cow with a sequel, but I find it hard to believe these are the same guys who gave us In Living Color.

But only to check out how they make fun of The Exorcist, besides what the trailer showed. Yeah, The Exorcist. Classic horror film that kids went to see when it was re-released and probably walked out from it saying "Omigod, like jeez, that was like, sooo boring. It like, wasn't as scary as my parents said it was when like, they first saw it. I mean like, what was that whole thing at the beginning with that old guy in the desert? And that weird chick in the nightgown who like, started swearing and acting all retarded and stuff? Whatever." Ok, that and I haven't seen the yummy Anna Faris since the first Scary Movie.
