Tickets on sale THIS FRIDAY AT NOON (4/27) at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema box office, 409 Colorado Street, open daily from noon to midnight. (NOTE: Seating is extremely limited, and we expect both screenings to sell out.)
Scheduled to be released in Austin July 27th, MADE features Swingers' "money" buddies Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn, who re-team as lifelong friends in Favreau's directorial debut. Bobby (Favreau) is an aspiring boxer who refuses to abandon his dreams, despite the urgings of his friend Ricky (Vaughn) to pursue a higher position in the organization of old-time mob boss Max (Peter Falk). When Max gives the two friends the opportunity to do a job for him in New York, Ricky takes it as a sign that they're moving up in the world - and in his own inimitable fashion, he makes sure everyone in Manhattan knows it. Made also stars Famke Janssen (X-MEN), Sean "Puffy" Combs, Faizon Love (THE REPLACEMENTS) and Vincent Pastore ("The Sopranos").
Proceeds to benefit the Austin Film Society and the Saturday Morning
Film Club. Call 476-1320 for more information or visit www.aintitcool.com.

Hey Folks Out There In The World!!! Me and a lot of friends here in Austin have managed to arrange a fun event on Friday, May 4th at the ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE!!!
As you can probably guess from the above poster, the film is Jon Favreau's first theatrical directorial film... MADE!!! The film doesn't open till JULY 20th, but because Jon is such a together guy, he's got the film ready to show pronto and he wants to show it to some of you AIN'T IT COOL and AUSTIN folks!
Ticket Prices haven't quite been worked out yet, or screening time(s), but the date MAY 4th is locked down and the ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE is locked down and Jon Favreau is locked down and even a pathetic urchin like me is locked down for that fateful date!
At the very least you'll get to see the movie months early, watch me be an ass and you can smack Jon with tough hitting questions about what it was like to be on the Sopranos... Is he tired of hearing "You're Money!"... or What was your character motivation for Crumford Lorak... or Could you look at my script... or What was the budget on this... or Boxers or Briefs? Like I said... Hard-Hitting Questions!
STAY TUNED FOR MORE DETAILS!!!
This event is being brought to you by Ain't It Cool News, The Alamo Drafthouse, The Filmmakers Of MADE, The Austin Film Society and Artisan Entertainment to benefit the Austin Film Society and The Saturday Morning Film Club For Kids!!!
