Freddy Beans here with a trailer (Finally!!) for PIERCING.
Holy Shit! There is almost too much to absorb in that trailer. I’m absolutely on board though.
From what I can tell it looks like a serial killer in training Reed(Christopher Abbott), taking his cues from Mona (laia Costa), meets his match in a prostitute named Jackie (Mia Wasikowska). There’s no certainty here, but it seems the tides turn in that HARD CANDY or AUDITION way. (Both are great films) The intended victim ultimately becoming the victimizer.
Nolas Pesce last directed the brilliantly creepy beyond measure, THE EYES OF MY MOTHER.
Seems like we’ve been waiting forever for his 2nd venture but it’s only been two long years. PIERCING looks like it won’t disappoint either. He’s slated to do the next reincarnation of THE GRUDGE after this one. If anyone can erase the memories of that less than harrowing Sarah Michelle Gellar version Nolas surely is the one.

I loved THE EYES OF MY MOTHER. There’s scenes in there that still stick with me. It’s a black and white film that captures the emotional stain of loneliness in a way I’ve never seen before.
