The Greg Berlanti’s “Constantine” special got even lower ratings than David Goyer’s long-cancelled “Constantine” series, which is saying something. It saddened me when “Man of Steel” writer Goyer controlled the character of John Constantine, and it saddens me now that “Green Lantern” writer Berlanti controls him. As conceived by the great Alan Moore, Constantine remains one of the finest comic-book creations ever forged.
A regular old NFL game garnered four times the key-demo score of a week-before-The-World-Series baseball game.
