Movie News

The BLOODSHOT movie is still happening apparently.

Vin Diesel, star of THE FAST & THE FURIOUS franchise and all around goofball (seriously follow him on social media. It's fascinating.), recently did an interview with ComicBook.com where he reiterated that the big screen adaption of the Valiant comic book series is still happening. Here's just a bit of what he had to say:

"...you know that Sony is finally going to lead the charge in the superhero movies of the future because they're incorporating a part of reality and incorporating issues that exist in society and embedding them into a quote-unquote superhero movie. It's just awesome."

Right.

Anyway, BLOODSHOT  tells the story of a former mafia hitman, who after being forcibly injected with nanobots as part of a super soldier program gains superhuman reflexes and healing but loses his memory. He eventually escapes from the program and begins to piece together his former life... while killing lots of people.

It's very "Logan meets Frank Castle".

BLOODSHOT will also star Guy Pierce (IRON MAN 3) and Toby Kebbel (DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES). It's slated for a 2020 release date and will be directed by visiual effects artist Dave Wilson (AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON).

What do you guys think? Excited for this or would you rather Diesel spent his time trying to get another Riddick film made? Let us know!
