Mondo Gallery had their opening this past friday October 12th of MARVEL STUDIOS: THE FIRST TEN YEARS, which celebrates 20 films in the Marvel Universe. The exhibition features many new pieces by popular artists as well as some previously released on display only. I was privileged to attend the press preview before Mondo opened the doors to the public and was pleasantly surprised, although the ones I was particularly interested in were either “display only” or unable to be sold at that time. All in all, it was a good display of work though. Artists works on sale are: Amien Juugo, Oliver Barrett, Francesco Francavilla, Marc Aspinall, Johnny Dombrowski, Rich Kelly, 100% Soft, Chris Koehler, Cesar Moreno, Sara Deck, Becky Cloonan, Matt Taylor, and Tom Whalen. Not only did they have a wide variety of posters, they also had enamel pins of Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Thanos, The Wasp, and Antman as well as other favorites like Spiderman. I, myself claimed a Jessica Jones pin because she kicks mean ass.
