Fox Pushes Back ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL, DARK PHOENIX, and GAMBIT For DEADPOOL

Evening, geeks!

Fox has delayed the release dates of ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL, DARK PHOENIX, and GAMBIT!

ALITA has been moved up from December 21, 2018 to Valentines Day 2019! I’d gladly go see it on V-day! In its place, Fox will be releasing what is rumored to be a PG-13 version of DEADPOOL 2. Fox has it listed as an untitled DEADPOOL movie. ALITA supposedly is in “tip-top shape”, so the release date was moved purely for scheduling reasons.

DARK PHOENIX has been moved down from Valentine’s Day to June 7th, which was GAMBIT’S old date. That has been moved up to March 13, 2020. Yes, supposedly GAMBIT is still happening and still without a director. Though Channing Tatum is still attached. Reid Carolin and Joshua Zetumer were working on the script. “Were”.

Deadline had the story first.
