They’ve run out of titles! A decade ago Fox had its own hourlong titled “New Amsterdam”; it starred that guy who plays Jaime Lannister as a New York detective cursed with immortality! NBC’s new “New Amsterdam” sounds as bad as the 2008 version. USA Today calls the 2018 version “dead on arrival.” The New York Times calls it “Heartfelt, well-meaning and dull.”
