Ben Foster has had a great 2018 so far. He earned rave reviews for his performance in LEAVE NO TRACE (My Review) and now he's back with GALVESTON. He's starring alongside Elle Fanning (THE NEON DEMON) in the new film from writer/director/actress Melanie Laurent (INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS).

This looks like it will be an emotionally draining experience but I'm really liking what I'm seeing so far. The film is based on the book by TRUE DETECTIVE creator Nic Pizzolatto. So, you know it will be a gritty, bleak affair.
The synopsis of the film is...
After escaping a set up, a dying hitman returns to his hometown of Galveston where he plans his revenge.
...but you can tell from the trailer that there is definitely a lot more going on here than the description implies.
