Four 4K Re-releases and New Posters of John Carpenter's 1980's Classics!

Hola Dannie aqui,

Here with some fantastic news, four classic John Carpenter films will be re-released in 4K this Autumn!

First up is the film that scared many a child and adults back in 1980 John Carpenters "THE FOG" here is the new poster they are releasing with the 4K version of the foggy and atmospheric Carpenter classic.

Next up is John Carpenters "THEY LIVE" from 1988 that stars Roddy Piper, Keith David, and Meg Foster. I love this film so much! One of the greatest, longest and most brutal fistfights, paranoia, conspiracy theories, and alien overlords!  "I came here to chew bubblegum and kick ass...and I'm all outta bubblegum."

Here is the trailer for the 4K films of John Carpenter scroll on for a look at the other two posters!

Here we have the 1981 film "ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK" the Carpenter film that transformed Kurt Russel into the immortally badass Snake Plissken. (1981 That's the year I was born)

Last but not least we have the poster for John Carpenters "PRINCE OF DARKNESS" if for some reason you have never seen this it is a must see. The film is from 1987 and is fracking horrifying still to this day. It's terrifyingly tasty!

I am including the original trailers here below for those unfamiliar, or those that are nostalgic!

The Fog -

They Live-

Escape from New York-

Prince of Darkness-

I love the retro half sheet style posters! I love the films, and I will be waiting anxiously for these films 4K release this fall. They have yet to announce the exact dates, but I will be keeping a close eye on it for everyone in Geeklandia. I hope you all are as Carpenter crazed as I am! This will definitely be a happy Halloween for film fans and horror-hounds!

Stay Strong, Live Good, Love Movies!
