We previously told you about this Laurel and Hardy biopic HERE. To give you just a brief recap: John C. Reilly and Steve Coogan play the famous comedic duo Laurel and Hardy during a time period where they... attempt to reignite their film careers as they embark on what becomes their swan song - a grueling theatre tour of post-war Britain.
The film is directed by Jon S. Baird, who directed the James McAvoy dirty cop film FILTH. I liked FILTH except for some major stumbles in its third act. Baird's involvement and the presence of both Coogan and Reilly, both amazingly talented performers, already caused this film to have my attention.
Now though, the trailer has appeared online and I'm even more interested. It looks charming and heartfelt even if it does seem to show the entire film condensed down to around 2 minutes. Check it out if you are on the fence or if you don't mind spoilers for events that actually happened.
