Still playing some catch-up, since getting back. Let’s check out this freaky trailer for the new series CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA!
Well this looks positively satanic. Killer.
This looks nothing like the upbeat sitcom of SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH that I grew up with starring Melissa Joan Hart, on ABC! From what I understand, the new show is based off of the graphic novels also dubbed CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, which the first novel came out in 2014. The stories, though from Archie Comics (Archie Horror to be exact), seem to get a tad “nightmarish”. Aguirre-Sacasa is very involved in the new show as executive producer. He has also produced RIVERDALE.
With Halloween coming up, this show is just what the doctor ordered! Forget STRANGER THINGS, this looks awesome! We’ll get to see it on Netflix October 26th!
