Today a trailer came out for "Anna and the Apocalypse" a holiday musical with Zombies! You heard that correctly, a Christmas musical with ZOMBIES! This film will either be epically awesome or pure shit, and one can never tell when it comes to both the musical and zombie genres nevertheless holiday-themed movies.
Orion Films describes "Anna and the Apocalypse" as-
"Anna and the Apocalypse" stars Ella Hunt ("The More You Ignore Me" and "Robot Overlords") as Anna, Mark Benton ("The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus"), Marli Siu (TV's "Dixie" and "Still Game"), Ben Wiggins ("Doctors" and "Casualty"), Christopher Leveaux ("1066: The Battle for Middle Earth"), Sarah Swire ("God Help the Girl" and "Some Other Place"), and Malcolm Cumming ("British by the Grace of God).
"Anna and the Apocalypse" is directed by John McPhail who is known for his short films "Notes," "Just Say Hi," "V for Visa," and "Doug & Steve's Big Holy Adventure." McPhail also worked on televisions "Metalhedz," and the feature film "Where Do We Go From Here?." The comedic Christmas musical featuring the undead is set to swarm theaters in the U.K. and the grand U.S. of A. on November 30th. I hope it turns out to be as fun as they promise.
