Hey folks, more Star Wars news from Deadline Hollywood: Dominic Monaghan ("Lost", LORD OF THE RINGS) has joined the cast of Episode IX. Monaghan indicated back in 2014 he wanted to join the Star Wars universe; this late casting news adds a second billion-dollar franchise for the LOST and LORD OF THE RINGS actor.
There's no word yet on what kind of role he'll be playing, whether it will be substantial or a Tom Hardy pop-in, but here's hoping Monoghan gets to make a small mark on the Star Wars universe.
