FANTASY ISLAND was a television event each week for my household. I loved that folks flew to an island to indulge their fantasies in normally dark fashion. The visitors usually left the island with a much deeper perspective on life. Departing, typically to a waving Mr. Roarke (Ricardo Montalban) and his lil' helper Tattoo. (Herve Villechaize)
I suppose it makes sense to have the most famous dwarf of 2018 playing the most famous dwarf from the late 1970’s. It was just a small snippet in the clip but Peter Dinklage (Herve in the clip) seems to have nailed the high pitched mumble that was endearingly Tattoo. I highly doubt that Andy Garcia will come as close to nailing Ricardo Montalban’s distinctive sound, maybe I’m wrong. It doesn’t sound like he will have that large a part to play here regardless.

With Dinklage reprising old dwarf roles, can I put in my request now for a WILLOW remake/sequel?
