Jason Blum & James Wan are partnering to bring us a techno horror thriller directed by Gerard Johnstone (HOUSEBOUND). Akela Cooper wrote the script. (LUKE CAGE/AHS)
Synopsis at this point has a brilliant roboticist developing a life-like doll named M3gan programmed with A.I. (Chucky 2.0?) to bond with her orphaned niece. M3gan gets a little over-possessive and there’s dramatic and deadly results. Hmmmmm. Made me want to see DEADLY FRIEND out of nowhere, for some reason.
They are aiming to start shooting in the fall
Anyone else excited about this one? I’m a horror fiend and really was surprised with HOUSEBOUND so I’ll definitely give it a shot.
