TITANS trailer hits us from Comic Con and says "F*CK BATMAN!"

Freddy Beans here with the official TITANS trailer and it looks better than I thought it would.

Love the atmosphere and attitude here but something is missing for me.

Here’s the studio’s synopsis:

Titans follows a group of young soon-to-be Super Heroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In this action-packed series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes, including Starfire, Raven, and many others. Titans is a dramatic, live-action adventure series that will explore and celebrate one of the most popular comic book teams ever.

Watching Nightwing say “F$*@ Batman” is the highlight here, that is if he was an established character. Problem is, most don’t know anything about Nightwing and will see Robin. Those ‘R’ throwing stars are also getting in the way here.

For those not in the know, Nightwing is the original disenfranchised Robin. His parents died on the trapeze when their rope was infringed upon. Dick Grayson their only son saw them fall to their deaths and Batman saves his hatred from overflowing by turning him into the loyal Robin. Robin turned to Nightwing, and then went out on his own after some questionable moves by his mentor, and disappeared into obscurity. ;)

Brenton Thwaites, Teagan Croft, Anna Diop, Minka Kelly, Ryan Potter, Alan Ritchson, Lindsey Gort, April Bowlby and Dwain Murphy round out the main cast for this tv series.

I’m going to call myself semi ambivalent for this one and hope I’m proven wrong.
Anyone out here excited for this one?
