Del Toro, Goyer, Dale, and Cooper "Antlers" Project Cast a Leading Lady!

Hola Dannie aqui,

With some casting news about the excitingly horrific project "Antlers" currently in works and being produced by Mexicano y mi amigo Guillermo Del Toro, as well as David Goyer, Miles Dale, and to be directed by Scott Cooper ("Hostiles," "Black Mass," "Out of the Furnace," and "Crazy Heart").

Del Toro ( director of "Pans Labyrinth," "The Shape of Water," and "CHRONOS),  is joined by producers David Goyer ("BLADE 2," 2016's "The Birth of a Nation," and "The Forrest"), Miles Dale ("The Shape of Water," "Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle," "Scott Pilgrim vs the World," 2011's "The Thing," and televisions "The Strain"), and Kevin Turen ("TAU," "Assassination Nation," The Birth of a Nation," and "Arbitrage") I have total faith in the project as Del Toro has yet to let me down as a filmgoer.

They are all are joined by executive producer Nick Antosca who helped produce the television hits like "Hannibal," "The Player," and "Channel Zero."  He also co-wrote the project with Henry Chaisson who worked on the beautiful short films "Breaker Breaker," "The Anniversary," and "Open 24 Hours." Antosca and Chaisson are all joined by executive producer Jim Rowe- executive producer of "Justice League," "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," "Hidden," 2014's "Godzilla," "Sucker Punch," and "Red Riding Hood."

IMDB describes the film as-

"A young teacher discovers that her troubled student's father and younger brother harbor a deadly supernatural secret. Taking the boy into her care, the teacher must fight for their survival against horrors beyond imagination."

So who is the leading lady that has garnered this role? Actress extraordinaire Keri Russell!

I enjoyed Keri Russell in the films "Honey, I Blew Up The Kids, "Randall Wallace's "We Were Soldiers," and "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes," however she is  probably most known for her from her work in television on the hits "Felicity," "Running Wilde," and "The Americans." Keri Russell has also been rumored to have  landed a role in "STAR WARS: Episode IX." She's talented that's for sure, the lady can call upon tears and emotion like a master. We shall have to wait and see, as the film has yet to announce a date of release, one can only ponder the terrifying wonders to come.

Stay Strong, Live Good, Love Movies!
