Hey folks, some crazy great news just now-- ZOMBIELAND 2 is reuniting the entire cast, and is a go!
Jesse Eisenberg (THE SOCIAL NETWORK), Woody Harrelson (THREE BILLBOARDS OUTSIDE OF EBBING, MISSOURI), Emma Stone ("No Turkey For Perky"), and Abigail Breslin (MAGGIE), are all returning for the sequel. And just to prove that the band IS really back together, Ruben Fleischer is back as director, from a script by original ZOMBIELAND writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese (DEADPOOL and DEADPOOL 2).
This is one of my favorite horror comedies. Bill Freakin' Murray. The constant betrayals. "Look at this clown" still makes me laugh, every damn time. And it also works great as a romance, which I'm sure will be trashed as the story begins, but they can do whatever-- this is a world I'll happily re-enter.
