Hey folks, Harry here... I was sitting 'round the Geek Headquarters today when suddenly a phone call from one of the regional promoters here in Texas gave me a ring... asking me if I wanted to give something out on the site. I said, "Sure... I guess, what's it for?" And then he told me. Heh...

Turns out NEW LINE had sent him the pink sweater that Marley Shelton's Diane Weston character wears in SUGAR & SPICE. Now given the generally negative sentiment towards SUGAR & SPICE from most critics I've read thus far, I doubt that SUGAR & SPICE is going to become a mainstream super success... So it's only chance at any long lasting existence is in the realm of CULT CINEMA..... and thanks to its CHEERLEADER GENRE status mixed with its cross genre heist breeding... But no matter the case... This sweater's future value lies not so much upon the success of SUGAR & SPICE, but of the gorgeous young actress that wore the sweater... Marley Shelton.

I first noticed Marley Shelton when she played Tricia Nixon in Oliver Stone's NIXON. But I didn't go gaga over her till she played the young adventurous baker of cookies for Tobey Maguire in PLEASANTIVE... which I consider to be a genuine GREAT movie. She's been acting in a lot of teenage high school flicks, but SUGAR & SPICE was the first one of those where she really got my attention with her comedic cute performance.

So... What can you do to win this Sweater? Well, since noone gave me any rules or guidelines in how to run this contest... I figure I will lower the moral standard of the nation by challenging you folks below in Talk Back to write in with your own CHEERLEADER STORY. This can be true or fiction.
