Fighting fire with Fire… Fist!
Julian Dennison (DEADPOOL 2) is the newest addition to the Legendary/Warner Bros. collaboration GODZILLA vs. KONG, slated for a may 2020 release.
Directed by Adam Wingard (DEATH NOTE, BLAIR WITCH), the film is the next step in the “monsterverse” the studios began building with 2014’s GODZILLA and followed by 2017’s KONG: SKULL ISLAND. To add a breakout star from a comic-book inspired film to the roster is nothing new for this franchise, but to be honest, it’s nothing new for any franchise these days as almost every actor has dipped their toe in some Super-fare. Dennison joins INFINITY WAR’s Van Marten and Ziyi Zhang, known for CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON and HERO, as well as some familiar faces returning from the previous installments, to be sure.
The film is slated for a May 22, 2020 release, well after GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS, is expected on May 31, 2019.
