With a trailer for a new Bigfoot movie called BIG LEGEND.
That preview absolutely has me excited! I’m still hesitant, as this is the director Justin Lee’s first film, while also taking writing credit here. The cast seems capable enough and then I see Lance Henrikson, Bishop himself, and I’m even more interested. The immortal Adrienne Barbeau also stars in this one, horror fans will remember her from THE FOG, SWAMP THING and the evil Wilma from THE CRATE segment of CREEPSHOW.
The setting and camera work looks competent I don’t have a bad thought yet.
Movies that deal in all things Bigfoot tend to fail miserably for me. It’s weird, that I am forced to appreciate a movie like BACKCOUNTRY which is literally the Bigfoot blueprint– people trapped in the woods being hunted by a “grizzly” in that case. This should be easy, yet I haven’t seen one I can honestly recommend at all.
The best Bigfoot I have seen on screen still has to be HARRY AND THE HENDERSONS….That’s just sad people.
I think my favorite part of this trailer was where one actor was dragging his friend behind as he ran and the friend was shooting from that position. That scene definitely makes me want to see more.
I know that there could be roughly a hundred, of these hairy humanoid movies out there but are you ok with another rendition?
You guessed it, I must see this movie. If only to see Lance ripped in two again, right at the lower chest with a darker crimson hue than found here.
