Hello all, Mad Dashiell here and thanks for joining me today. Catherine Tate and David Tennant are certainly no strangers to having worked together time and time again. They have teamed up, on stage, on screen, and they have both contributed their voice acting talents to the new version of Disney's DuckTales cartoon series. But now the dynamic duo will be taking on a new comedy-drama together called AMERICONS.
The show is in its very early developmental stages. It stems from former BBC drama programmer Jane Tranter. She was also a big wig on Dr.Who working with Julie Gardner's Bad Wolf company, but other than that there are zero details on the writers or who will be directing yet. At that, there is also very little known about the outline of the story. What has been gathered is the show apparently will follow the pair during their transition to the States. From the title, it sounds like it could be that they are pulling off a con or are to be conned, we shall see.
