WILLOW 2!?! Dare it be true? I Dare, I Dare, I Dare!

Hola, Dannie aqui!

What an incredible Mother's Day! Went playing around a pretty unpoluted, mosquito free creek with our new precious puppy! My boy also took me for some serious yum yums! Then FatherGeek showed up with a Texas Celebrity Cook Book!  He's the best. I owe alot of my love for WILLOW to him & my brother.  More on that later.

When I got home, my brother alerted me that Ron Howard said WILLOW 2 could happen. I FREAKED THE FUCK OUT! "Willow," was the movie where I defied my brother & dad on the film.  For a full year before the movie came out, Harry was babbling about the movie. I was seven. I was fired up.  When we finally saw the movie, they didn't really care for it much, but I loved it. Rather than rain on my puddle hopping parade - they indulged me. I thought Elora Danan looked like me as a baby, and I had a miniature pony named Donatella, the teenage mutant pony!

The film pretty much bombed. But I didn't care. I loved it. Harry said it was just like "Dune" for him. And just like when Dad scored him all discounted DUNE toys from TOYS R US for Christmas, he got me all the toys.

I also had the game which was wonderful. Wandering forever killing Skeleton Warriors, fire flinging Lizard Demons, collecting treasure and enchanted objects.  It was cool playing with my bro as he constantly fumed the movie would've been cooler with all the crazy elements in the game.  He just wanted more and when I saw "Lord of the Rings" I got it.  BUT DAGDARNIT, I love "Willow" and always have.   What's better is that I made them watch it with me so much, just like "Howard the Duck" - that both of them love both of those movie, proving me RIGHT!  HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH!

I would play with the toys as he won the game for me.  And the Showbiz Pizza had the Stand up game, that we played too!

"I don't want to give away too much, but there is a little talk of Willow," Howard told ComicBook.com. "We wouldn't call it Willow 2, I think it would focus a lot on Elora Danan, although Willow would have to be significantly involved."

I love that so much, because I was Elora Danan, the magical princess! To get to see her adventures was something I never dared dream of.  But as FatherGeek told me.  Because of kids like little ol me, one day all the toys, coloring books, sticker books, poster books, Captain Crunch disappearing coin trick, that one day - it would have it's day.

Today seems like that day! WOO-HOO HAPPY HAPPY DANCE!

I wonder, how many little sisters with STAR WARS big brothers grew up loving this just like me? I suppose that is what times like these are for.  To find our Tribe! So stand up and be counted Elora Dannies of the world!  Demand Ron Howard to take "Willow" to the next level.  Make me throw acorns at my brother to make him freeze like stone again!  Such awesome memories!

Bring this back around to my day, Mother's Day, I'm proud to say my 17 year old has a healthy affection for "Willow"!  Hope this gets more traction and comes out on a future Mother's Day weekend!  That'd be too cool for school!
